Tafila Branch

Tafila governorate Branch was established in 1986 and the engineers affiliates to the Branch at the time were 24, but the affiliates are 1350 engineers now until 2018. It is noteworthy that there are committees like Al Hasa & Al Abiad Branch Committee and Al Rashadieh Branch Committee.

Tafila Brach has a number of halls and lounges equipped for holding meetings and conferences and there is a computer laboratory equipped with modern devices and equipment.

Branch Council’s action plan:

The Branch Council’s action plan of 2018 objectives: The Branch Council’s action plan revolves around the achievement of a variety of general goals through the necessary and available means of implementing the annual plan of the Branch in cooperation with the Branch Council and Engineering Committees as follows:


To professionally, scientifically and culturally upgrade the General Assembly through the following means:

  1. To hold scientific and cultural lectures, courses and workshops.
  2. To organize scientific and cultural courses.
  3. To send the fellow engineers to engineering lectures, courses and conferences.
  4. Making various scientific visits to different scientific and engineering institutions.
  5. To organize cultural, social and entertainment picnics.
  6. To organize scientific, cultural and religious contests for engineers and their children.

To communicate with the new engineers through the following means:

  1. New engineers reception ceremony.
  2. Graduation Ceremony of Tafila University Engineering College.
  3. To form a committee for them.
  4. To look for job and training opportunities for new engineers.

To increase the social communication among the fellow engineers through the following means:

  1. To make a manual for Tafila engineers.
  2. To organize an outdoor entertainment picnic for the engineers and their families.
  3. To make a ceremony for honoring the engineers’ children who graduate from school.
  4. To annually organize a book fair.
  5. To make the Branch Hall available for occasions of fellow engineers for a lowered fee.
  6. To make the Branch Hall available on a daily basis for the fellow engineers to meet, keep in touch and communicate with the Branch.

To increase the Branch Committee’s communication with the engineers at their sites through the following means:

  1. Increasing the Branch Committees associated with the Branch.
  2. Appointment of liaison officers for the Branch and the engineers at the institutions and departments.

To contribute to improve the engineer’s living standard through the following means:

  1. Expansion in the financial and investment services of the engineer in coordination with the Pension Directorate.
  2. Attraction of offers to buy lands to be distributed to the engineers.

To find the appropriate place to sponsor the engineers’ activities through the following means:

  1. To maintain and furnish the Branch offices.
  2. To attract the offers to buy a plot of land to build the Branch offices.

To interact with the local community through the following means:

  1. The distribution of food packages in Ramadan.
  2. The distribution of school bags in the beginning of the study year.
  3. Holding a free medical day + blood donation.
  4. The participation in the public meetings and seminars and expressing opinion in the topic.
  5. Sponsorship of some purposeful activities and events organized by the charitable institutions and association.
  6. The cooperation with Tafila Technical University in participation in the provision of services, courses and events.

State and Nation’s causes through the following means:

  1. The organization of events and seminars that address the national and religious occasions, as well as emerging circumstances.
  2. The participation in the events held by the Association with respect thereto.
  3. Committee on Branches through the following means:
  4. To keep meeting on a regular basis, so as to fortnightly have at least a couple of meetings.
  5. To coordinate with the Branch Committees to implement the plan.
  6. To supervise the financial affairs and prepare the budget.

Committee on Engineers through the following means:
To form a committee to deal with the engineers by preparing and organizing special activities with employees and councils.
