Admission & Registration
The Jordan Engineers Association has always been seeking to accomplish a set of goals in its persistent quest to highly improve the scientific and professional quality of the profession, as well as contributing in the planning and development of its capabilities so as to accommodate for the vast number of new affiliates. In addition to that, exploring the profession's future vision and its different specializations through the study of the labor market and its needs along with coordinating with the relevant authorities and entities in our beloved country due to its position as a consultancy body in its specialized field of work.
Taking all that into consideration, the Registration Department in the association has undertaken a great responsibility and endeavor due to the fact that it represents the inception of the steps to be followed by male and female colleagues towards their professional career fields.
And as a result of the steady, continuant and annual increase in the number of new affiliates to the association; this has constituted one of the most demanding and important challenges faced by the association as the number of associates until the end of the March/2014 has reached the total of ( 113, 417 ) distributed among the following divisions :
- Civil Engineering Division ( 31284 )
- Architecture Division ( 9483 )
- Mechanical Division ( 22281 )
- Electrical Division ( 42580)
- Mining Division ( 1004 )
- Chemical Division ( 6785 )
Not to mention the number of pre-graduate students who are currently studying at the engineering colleges in Jordanian universities , which has been estimated at 35,000 students , which indicates a high number of members to the association of about
( 130 ) thousand during the coming next ten years .
In light of all this, the association must develop programmed plans so as to positively influence the future, if Allah wills, aiming to guide and reform, leading to raising the level of the profession and to preserving the gains of its female and male peers and colleagues .
